HAPPY CHRISTMAS

with quivering buttery marrow
in boiling hot beef broth,
served on steaming white rice
with Grey Poupon on the side,

was my family's concession
to a simple pre-December 25 meal
before the madness
of rich Christmas Day buffets!

Europeans and American, use marrow like a Pate...Which is also good, but nothing beat eating it over a cup of hot rice/garlic rice....
