I couldn't have said it better myself! She's taking this to the extreme? She is threading on dangerous grounds. Tsk.
If she hates the third world country, why doesn't she leave and stay in a first world country she so loves.
I think Ms Malu made a grave offense in writing an article about OFW...a plain and simple form of discrimination done to her own countrymen.A journalist/writer at that, she should have done a research before boarding the plane...or took a business class seat so that she didnt encounter a smell from a cheap perfume...I guess, she has no enough money for that thing...Sometimes people tend to see themselves as smart, witty but failed to accept the reality of life...thats were the problem goes...Ms Malu, you are also a Filipino...yes...you are a journalist but you dont have the right to put your own countrymen down...The best thing for you to do is to apologize in nationwide television so that every filipino will get a chance to see your face...After doing that, you can pack and leave the country to live in a 1st world country where people use expensive perfume...In that sense, you are not anymore living in a third world country...But anyway, Ms Malu...dont forget the word karma...hoping that you will not encounter the same treatment from other people like the way you treated your own countrymen...If that will happen to you, the filipino people will not help you but rather cursed you...
Saw from other blogs that Ms. Malu's real job is being a merchandiser for a supermarket chain that is owened by one of her "friend" she mentioned in her article. Is this true?
