scene of the crime at "77",

a well-kept (not so) secret hangout of alcoholics from Quezon City.

It's an old house on Kamuning (!)
converted into a really cool drinking establishment
that reminds me of the cozy bars that used to line my Malate.
(Penguin, et. al., back in the early 1990s, before the district's current jologization);

77 offers an excellent pulutan simply called "Spicy Beef"
that's exactly like COW LABEL served on a sizzling plate,

and JACK DANIEL'S at only P90/shot....
