The Return of SHOWTIME???

Your eyes are NOT deceiving you.
That's Kobe Bryant,
wearing his new #24,
actually smiling at a fellow Laker.
The proud recipient of Mr. 81 points' congratulations
is the Los Angeles' new Center of Attraction,
Andrew Bynum.

After averaging a measly 2pts. and 2rbs. as a rookie
entering the NBA straight out of High School,
(although he did block SHAQ twice (!) in a game vs. the Heat)
Bynum has reached career-highs twice over
in L.A.'s first 5 games.
Last night,
against Kevin Garnett and the Timberwolves,
the Sophomore Center had a Shaq-like
20 pts. and 14 rbs & 3 blocks.

The reason for Andrew's Ascent?
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is his personal coach.
The Los Angeles Lakers are at 4-1,
their best start since their final run for the crown,
five years ago.
No,
these Lakers will not win it all this year,
BUT...
With Kobe Magic-ally sharing the ball,
Luke Walton doing his best Kurt Rambis,
Lamar Odom emulating James Worthy,

and Jack, always JACK,
(who has never Departed ",)
cheering from the the sidelines,
SHOWTIME IS BACK!!!
