Disgrace. Total disgrace.

If there is little self-respect to the designer who made this, the only option is to resign and pursue another profession.

http://www.poland.travel/en

DESIGN is not about good layout, cool colors and fantastic use of fonts. It is an expression of EXCELLENCE and a rendition of DIGNITY. I see none from these from this shameless work.

The DOT is not the only one to blame for the "RIPOFF".. The so called CREATIVE PEOPLE of the AD AGENCY involve in the campaign is the one who should take the blame. THEY(the AD Agency) feed the DOT people(who in the first place have no idea of what they want)with images(or pegs) from the internet then once approve of the "LOOK", The Agency then tweaks a little this and that and VOILA!! A NEW LOGO!!

This is NOT the first time AD AGENCIES copies ideas from the net.. THEY USE IT ALMOST ALL THE TIME!! BELIEVE ME..

I don't think that it should be the DOT to blame for this mishap but the advertising agency that it hired and won the bidding (Campaigns & Gray). They were hired to design and produce a brand for the DOT and they should have researched first if there are similar designs from other countries before they presented "Pilipinas Kay Ganda" to the DOT. The DOT is only presenting to the public what Campaigns and Gray had designed for the tourism department.

Here’s my beef. “Pilipinas Kay Ganda” as an international marketing slogan, just doesn’t cut it. Because if you’re not Filipino, you won’t know what it means. If it was intended as a domestic slogan for Tagalog-speaking audiences, it’s not catchy enough – I think it sounds wimpy. On the other hand, the old slogan “Wow Philippines” was catchy, instantly recognizable, and worked for both domestic and international markets.

Suggestion ko lang, total lahat nakakaaccess na sa worldwide web eto n lang ang maging new slogan natin "I LUV PILIPINAS" (sms font style, ala jejemon) or "PHILIPPINES, SUPER LIKE" (yung "like" na word pareho sa like icon na makikita sa fb). Siyempre, andun pa rin ang WOW PHILIPPINES as background para may transition sa slogan, from almost a decade of dominance, after being WOWed/amazed to beginning to "love it" or "like it".

If you search WOW Philippines online, it has been widely used in all travel agencies worldwide that connect potential visitors to the Philippines. I remember attending WOW Philippines event in Intramuros. Bongga talaga. napapawow ang mga foreign guests. i think it was Richard Gordon's time then. Sana ibalik at i-enhance yon and instead of spending millions in changing it, spend it in enhancing it further. may song pa yun na astig din "Tara na Byahe Tayo!"

Sayang yung mga efforts noon. bUhay na buhay ang intramuros noong araw, ngayon parang mahal na araw on a weekend. iilan ang foreigners na andun.

Wow men! (Sarcasm intended!) That logo? IS DOT into plagiarism now? I thought we Filipinos are original. Panong naging orginal yan?

Wow Philippines! Just make good tourism advertisements. It will be worth it. I am here in MidEast at sa totoo lang I envy Malaysia kasi yung ad nila na "Malaysia Truly Asia" simple lang pero it shows Malaysian culture, at nakakarelax ang dating. And the term Malaysia Truly Asia, may name recall. It's as though if you are a foreigner and you hear Asia, una mong maiisip Malaysia.

Advertisement lang ang kailangan. A good advertisement. Not a new slogan.

I am really depressed about this. But I hope this can be corrected. Plagiarism is rampant online. It should not supposed to be blasted online. A shame to the artist, but I hope this can be corrected as soon as possible. The upcoming latest games, latest game reviews, game reviews, games system requirements, top games reviews, games wallpapers, hot game wallpapers, game consoles, latest game news would make sure that the logos are unique and originality has been one of the requirement.

Well it is important that in every LOGO you have created, it must be unique and not copied or has a look alike for any other logos. This site seems to inspire me a lot. Thank you so much for organizing and providing this quality information in an easy to understand way.
I think that a healthy era of big data can be maintained only when such high-quality information is continuously produced. And I, too,
are working hard to organize and provide such high-quality information. It would be nice to come in once and get information.
