Claudio Teehankee Jr.,
convicted murderer of teenagers
Maureen Hultman and Roland Chapman in 1991,
was granted "Executive Clemency" by GMA last week;
apparently, he was released last Friday,
but the pardon was only announced to the media yesterday.
Teehankee is now probably sunning himself somewhere
on a beach far, far away from the Philippines...
I didn't realize that this post from almost a year ago,
about GMA pardoning Ninoy Aquino's assassins,
would be so prescient.
And based on the news reports last night,
Rolito Go,
the man who shot and killed La Sallian Eldon Maguan
in cold blood in Greenhills that same year,
(Go was going the wrong way on one-way Wilson St.,
and killed Maguan for having the temerity of right-of-way)
just may be spending Christmas 2008 as a free man.
17 years ago,
we were all so outraged by these killings,
we demanded the return, and for a while,
we had the Death Penalty.
Too bad, Capital Punishment wasn't retroactive.
We could've been rid of these convicted murderers a long time ago.
Will the wild-wigged Mayor Sanchez be released too?
After all, he only raped and killed those UPLB college kids.
Please pray for the Hultman, Chapman, and Maguan families;
they got a big fat dirty finger from our Demonic Government.
If we can't get real justice from the presidency,
our courts and penal system,
I'll just pray for Biblical Intervention and Divine Judgment
for our "leaders".

it seems killing 3 people gets only 17 years jailtime here in the philippines. good news for all those contemplating on killing GMA. you will probably be out with good behavior in 5.
