it's better acted, with much better production values,
wardrobe, cinematography, musical score and soundtrack,
than any insipid telenovela showing now on channels 2 & 7!!!

I'm amazed at the sheer number of excellent
KFC TVCs that seem to come out monthly;
each perfectly casted with the perfect models,
each with the perfect infusion of Pinoy humor,
each with perfectly rendered foodie cinematography.
During the Beijing Olympics last month,
we were treated to the classic tale of the girlfriend
who couldn't decide on what to eat, pasta or chicken,
and how her exasperated boyfriend almost killed both of them
swerving madly around traffic until he thought of
KFC's Chicken Pasta.
And now, the absolutely LOL new campaign that
shows how you can "out" corporate dudes in the closet
by surprising them with this shrimptastic treat:
From the "coño kid" dialogue to the shocked "eeek!",
the shaky guilty finger pointing at the KFC box,
to the Group Hug at the very end,
the TVC is sheer 30-second hilarity!
But what's really great about the KFC commercials?
The food really lives up to the hype.
This 5-piece SHRIMP SURFER meal,
butterflied shrimp with a crunchy tempura crust,
complete with spicy-sweet dip and rice,
is effing tasty, and very reasonable at only P107.00!
Ingat lang kayo kung may tinatago kayong sikreto sa kasama niyo kumain!!!

is it really good? i wanna try it out but i'm scared it'll not live up to the cool commercial! hahaha!

I love the new KFC Shrimp Commercial. Extremely funny. The funniest filipino commercial I've seen in years! =)
The meal isn't that bad as well. Indi malansa. =)
Dahil dito, ito ang oorderin ko for lunch. Those look tasty!
Kelly's a personal friend. I like her and like the new commercial too. However, I was a bit disappointed with the taste of KFC's shrimp surfer.. It fall a bit short under my expectations....
