One BEER To Bring Them All, and in the Darkness, BLIND Them!

Expect blinding traffic jams at the Ortigas Center
this Friday, September 5, as San Miguel Beer launches
OKTOBERFEST 2008 and closes down all of San Miguel Avenue.

SMB will try to establish a new Guiness Record
for the "World's Longest Beer Bar" as well as
"Most People Stuck in Traffic Muttering Style Mo Bulok!'".

Manny Pacquiao will be present to get everyone drunk,
so that they will consider voting him to the Senate in 2010.



Nyoy Volante, Jimmy Bondoc, and Paolo Santos,
the usual line-up of acoustic wimps,
will serve as convenient targets for hecklers,

but to compensate for those Bagaberde whiners,

The Dawn, Rivermaya, and Rico Blanco
will be around to provide the best rock music
to accompany the anticipated beer orgy.




But the true highlight of the night will be,
after a 5-year absence from the music scene,

THIRD EYE BLIND
will be seen again at the Ortigas Oktoberfest,
to sing about their Semi-Charmed Lives and hopefully,
blast their way through one of the Best Break-Up Songs ever:
"How's It Gonna Be"
