PULIS OYSTER!!!

FLASH REPORT!!!

The newest incarnations of the formerly red-yellow garbed
Metro Aides have arrived.

Over the past two weeks,
these new uniforms,
deep ocean blue with coral pink letters,
have been seen in the hundreds,
all over MetroManila.

The words "PULIS" and "OYSTER"
are so incongruous
that I spent sleepless nights
pondering the meaning of it all.

Was it code for "TALABA COPS"???

What in Neptune's name??!?!!?!

Finally,
I couldn't stand it anymore
and just had to ask the kind lady below
what the words on their uniforms meant....

OYSTER,
an acronym for:

"OUT-OF-SCHOOL YOUTHS STRIVING TOWARDS ECONOMIC RECOVERY"

I kid you not.

GMA's bright boys have done it again!!!

Basta mga alipores ni gma, maraming gimik tuwing eleksiyon. Darami pa yang oysters habang papalapit ang eleksiyon. Part of the promised 10 million jobs. Saan na naman kayang pondo ng bayan ang gagamitin dyan? Iimbestigahan na naman at tatakbo sa ibayong dagat ang operator like jocjoc. A, baka from the Bureau of Fisheries. A new project nga naman for the propagation of talaba along the kalsada.

Hi Spanky. I don't know if you remember me, but we've met a long time ago.

Actually, OYSTER means Out-of-School Youth Serving Toward Economic Recovery.

yup, that's me, the MARS guy.

BTW, I realized that the "Y" in oyster hardly applies to the woman in your picture. I still don't see the point of the whole thing. It's just plain ridiculous. I guess Bulaong wants to be credited for all of this, hence the Pulis monicker.
