The 1st PINOY in the NBA???

GIAN CHIU,
the former Ateneo Blue Eaglet
who decided to follow his basketball dream to the U.S.,

is now making waves in Palm Springs, California,
as the 6'9" starting center for the
Desert Christian High School.

He averaged 15pts and 11rbs a game in his senior year,
leading his team to an 20-4 record,
the best season in school history.

NCAA scouts are starting to take notice,
and hopefully,
we'll all be able to see him in a Division I team in 2008...
