BALKAN EXPRESS: The Home of Home Cooked EASTERN EUROPEAN Cuisine!

"BATAK"

dark chicken meat, grilled perfectly and charred for full flavor,
sprinkled with a lot of secret Serbian spices,
generously stuffed with Mozzarella Cheese,
all on a bed of steaming Jasmine Rice!

If you only recognize Serbia
because you were a major Sacramento Kings fan
during the era of Vlade Divac and Peja Stojakovic,

or

if you're only familiar with the Balkan Peninsula
because you loved the Gene Hackman-Owen Wilson
action classic, "Behind Enemy Lines",

here's a historical and geographical primer:

a map of the old Yugoslavia,

and a photo of the new Balkan Express!!!

PLJESKAVICA:
hamburger steak, stuffed with spices,
chili, and melted mozarella cheese

Serbian food, anyone?

Or if you prefer, an entrée from Montenegro,
perhaps, Bosnia, or even Herzegovina!!!

For the first time ever in MetroManila,
the cuisine of the former Yugoslavia
is now available for us to enjoy!!!

Please don't go all Butthead if
you're going to order the "BUTKICE"...
and good luck pronouncing PLJESKAVICA!!!

But if you really can't control your inner Beavis,
sit near the counter and entertain yourself
by listening to the diners try to order;
feel free to SNICLA!!!

How can you not love a restaurant that offers Extra BACON?

The very warm colors in the very cool dining area;
parking right outside the resto is quite easy too.

There are two Serbian ladies who do the cooking,
and during the evenings, you're bound to meet Marko,
the former UAAP Green Archer behind the Balkan Express.
Animo La Salle!!!

  1. Please help us:

2 pinoys scammed their fellow pinoys in Singapore taking more or less 20,000sgd from more or less 20 pinoys ( we're still finalizing the exact numbers ). Their names are

    Michael dela Cruz Yabut
Sheila Santos Orquiza (hometown: BF Paranaque)

We were informed that they went back to the Philippines last July 27, 2010 carrying with them the hard-earned money of our fellow pinoys here in Singapore.
Here is the link to our discussion. If anyone has any information on their whereabouts, please let us know and please report to the police.

    sorry,
but i doubt if they have
