I heart BBC!!!

Seriously,
how would we DVD-lovers survive without PIRACY?

The meager and over-priced selections available
at Music One, Powerbooks, O,
and the charmingly retro-named SM Record Bars,
are almost insulting.

Then again,
you have Makati Cinema Square, Metrowalk,
and the mecca that is Quiapo.

This weekend,
I was able to get these ultimate BBC bargains,
each with the all-important accurate subtitles,
for P80.00 each:

1. Ricky Gervais' original THE OFFICE
> though it ran for only two seasons,
this UK version paved the way for the equally-genius
US version of Steve carell,
which has already, at 30+ episodes,
surpassed the original series.

> the other dibidi in this package has the complete
22 episodes of Season 2 of the U.S. version. WOW!

n.b. TV "Seasons" are called "SERIES" in the UK,
and instead of the 22-24 episodes in the US,
each "Series" only has 6 episodes.

2. COUPLING
> the BBC show that will make you forget
that those overly-wholesome yet borderline incestuous
New Yorkers of FRIENDS ever existed.

3. HUSTLE
> the real progeny of the Rat Pack's Ocean's Eleven,
and the true spiritual heir of Newman/Redford's The Sting.

4. LITTLE BRITAIN
> too funny for words,
the United Kingdom as seen through
a deliciously warped looking glass!!!
