MO)ONCAKE Madness!!!

I love this part of Manila.
It's right up there with Quiapo
as the two districts with the most character.

While some would balk at walking its so-called mean streets,
this Manila Boy feels right at home.

Earlier this evening,
I visited Chinatown to buy a thousand pesos worth of
Hopia, Tikoy, and Mooncakes for my relatives in SFO.

And if you've read my previous posts about The Family Hizon,
you'd understand why 1K is even a bit on the low side.

While almost all the restaurants and bakeries in Binondo
are selling their own versions of these delicacies,
Eng Bee Tin remains a favorite among Chinoys & visiting foodies,
due to the following reasons:

For innovative flavors:

Langka & Pandan Mooncake!
Strawberry Tikoy!
Ube & Pastillas Hopia!

For production quality:

Their products are sanitarily packed by robots,
untouched by human hands!

And of course,
For great taste and excellent value:

Hopia 4-packs at only P30.00,
Tikoy Rolls at only P22.00,
and Mixed Nut Mooncakes with 2 Eggs for only P100.00

Visit Ongpin and its surrounding streets soon,
and get your goodies before the stocks run out
when the Mooncake Madness reaches its peak on October 7!!!
